1. Authorised representative
Cavari Capital Pty Ltd (ACN 698 123 849; ABN 85 698 123 849) (the CAR) is a corporate authorised representative of Avenir Capital Pty Ltd (ABN 40 150 790 355; ACN 150 790 355; AFSL 405469) (Avenir) (CAR No. 001323734). The CAR is the issuer of this document.
2. Scope of Avenir authorisation
The authority of the CAR under Avenir’s AFSL (the CAR’s Authorisation) is limited to:
- Client type: providing the authorised financial services to Wholesale Clients only (and not to retail clients); and
- Authorised services:
- provide financial product advice for the following classes of financial products:
- interests in managed investment schemes excluding investor directed portfolio services; and
- securities;
- deal in a financial product by:
- applying for, acquiring, varying or disposing of a financial product on behalf of another person in respect of the following classes of products:
- interests in managed investment schemes excluding investor directed portfolio services; and
- securities.
- applying for, acquiring, varying or disposing of a financial product on behalf of another person in respect of the following classes of products:
- provide financial product advice for the following classes of financial products:
3. Important limitations
The CAR’s Authorisation does not extend to any financial service, activity or product outside the CAR’s Authorisation. In particular:
- The CAR is not authorised by Avenir to provide any financial services to Retail Clients.
- The CAR is not authorised to accept client money.
- The CAR is not authorised by Avenir to provide any financial services outside the scope stated above.
- Whilst Avenir’s AFSL also authorises it to provided financial services in relation to financial products other than securities, the CAR is not authorised in relation to those financial services, activities or products. Specifically, the CAR is not authorised in relation to deposit and payment products, derivatives, or foreign exchange contracts.
